Mural commission for a client near Austin in Wimberley, Texas. Comprised of seven massive solid core maple panels.
Working in conjunction with the clients and Cunningham Architects of Dallas the functional mural panel acts as an entrance centerpiece to the hilltop home with expansive views of the Texas Hill Country.
My design for the work is inspired by research into the native landscape and geological formations in the area. The contemporary house is surrounded by native trees, sweeping views of the river below and spectacular rock formations.
